Created by Steve Brill, Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, The Mighty Ducks: The Game Changers is a sports comedy drama series. Brill, Goldsmith and Yuspa are also executive producers with James Griffiths, Michael Spiller, Emilio Estevez, Brad Petrigala, George Heller, Jordan Kerner and Jon Avnet.

The first season of the inaugural series on March 26, 2021 and received positive reviews from critics and spectators. Currently has an approval rating of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes and has scored 72 out of 100 on Metacritic. The maker updated the series for the second season in August 2021.

The first season Mighty Ducks: The Game Changers was released in March 2021. Given that, the second season had to premiere around 2022, although the official confirmation was awaited.

The next season is expected to have ten episodes like season 1. This series is distributed by the Disney Platform Distribution and will be available for streaming at Disney+.
